Manual Installation from XAPK file

In most cases it is not necessary to perform manual installation from XAPK file. But in certain cases XAPK installer app may not be running properly on your device, or your XAPK file may contain broken data in the manifest.json which prevents it from installation. For cases like this manual installation to the Android device may be the best choice.

XAPK file is an archive which contains APK file, one or two OBB files, manifest.json and icon.png files. APK and OBB need to be copied to your Android device to the proper locations in order for the application to function.

Below are steps on how to perform manual installation of the XAPK file to the Android device:

• Change XAPK file extension to ZIP
• Extract files from the XAPK file to your Android device internal storage
• Open APK file which was extracted from the XAPK in the File Manager app
• Install the APK file to your Android device
• Start the game from the Android device home screen

Below are steps on how to perform manual installation of the XAPK file to the Android device using Windows desktop computer:

• Change XAPK file extension to ZIP
• Extract files from the XAPK file to the folder on your Windows OS machine
• Copy APK file and the contents of Android folder to your Android device
• Go to your Android device and open APK file which was extracted from the XAPK in the File Manager app. To your Android device
• Install the APK file
• Start the game from the Android device home screen

If application does not start after the manual install it may be that OBB file is missing from the installation. Check the manifest.json inside the XAPK file and verify that OBB files are located in the appropriate folders. Rename folders if necessary.
